Marble Engraved Photos sometimes look best with the
background removed although this is not practical with
all photos.

When practical, we will remove the background if we
feel the engraving will look best without it (unless you
tell us not to).  We will also crop the image and size the
text to best fit the plaque design, do dust and scratch
removal, and enhance photo for best engraving.

If you want the background...it should be a good
contrast to the image, especially around the hairline.  
The faces should not be heavily shadowed or the
engraving detail will be lost.
